Best Arts and Music Documentary at Millennium Docs
Last week we won Best Arts and Music Documentary at Millennium Docs Against Gravity, Warsaw and we pre-recorded a thank you.
CHOPIN’S NOSE AWARD
This year’s festival also presented the Chopin’s Nose Award and €2,000 for the best film about music and art. Jury: Eliza Kącka, Lidia Popiel, Bartek Wąsik.
Winner: “Crocodile”, dir. Pietra Brettkelly, The Critics
“In 2025, the festival attracted over 181,000 audience members. This not only makes MDAG the largest film festival in Poland, but also the second-largest event dedicated to documentary cinema in Europe.”
But one film in particular convinced us that art is a strategy for the survival of the human race. That even in an African city, without resources or institutional support, it is possible to create something from nothing.
